This was the second time we stayed at the Sea House and we look forward to going back. The Sea House is a tastefully restored Irish vernacular Longhouse and is fully appointed with all mod cons. Comfortably sleeps six and the turf burning open fire is cosy. We were able to watch the sun setting behind Aranmore from the raised deck and listen to the curlews. Its bliss to… Read more “Brilliant Holiday Cottage”
Hi Natasha, We’d a brilliant holiday staying in the Sea House. We’re a family of 2 adults, 2 boys and a crazy dog. We were welcomed with homemade bread, everything for tea, coffee and a box of dog treats – all really appreciated after the drive from Dublin. The house is fitted out like a Laura Ashley photoshoot – homely, comforting with everything you could need. I looked for… Read more “The house is fitted out like a Laura Ashley photoshoot”
We had a fantastic stay in your beautiful home – The Sea House. Everything was just perfect and Sharon couldn’t have been more helpful! We hope to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and family!
Just returned from our third stay in The Seahouse and it was just as beautiful as we remembered. Every time we go back we are just in awe of the setting, the decor and attention to detail. The house is equipped with everything you could need, the bathroom has a great shower and a hot rail so lovely warm towels! The main bedroom is bright and airy with a… Read more “Just returned from our third stay in The Seahouse”
Natasha, we had a wonderful time at the Sea House and appreciated Shona’s help. Everything worked out well and we put on quite a few kilometers driving in the area. The weather cooperated well during the entire visit so that helped us quite a lot. Lovely place to just stay in place and enjoy the house and the environment. Dungloe had pretty much everything we needed. Look forward spending… Read more “Lovely place to just stay in place and enjoy the house and the environment”
Our stay in Dungloe and the cottage on the Ocean was fabulous. Beautiful area and wonderful people. Sharon was very helpful and responsive. We ran out of oil and lost heat and got water and it was addressed within a couple of hours when we called. Deb and I would come back anytime. I highly recommend staying here.
The Sea House in Toberkeen was love at first sight: its magical views over the bay with forever changing landscape colours and its cosy comfortable tasteful and beautifully arranged interior ticked absolutely all our boxes. The fresh scones on arrival, the warm welcome and the turf fire for the colder evenings were added treats that made our stay even more authentic. There is nothing we would change and nothing… Read more “The sea house in Toberkeen was love at first sight”
The Sea House, in Toberkeen, Dungloe, is a perfect cottage hideaway with all modern conveniences. On arrival we were greeted with home baked scones and fresh flowers. There is a spacious kitchen dining area and two comfortable living rooms separate from the bedrooms and washroom area. The view of Arranmore and the sea is breath-taking, and as the cottage faces west we experienced magical sunsets every evening. The silence was… Read more “A perfect cottage hideaway with all modern conveniences”
We had a very pleasant time in The Sea House. You arranged the house in a way that just everything was there. We felt like living in a design-house and we enjoyed the wonderful views. We had one day with rain from the beginning of the morning till the end of the evening; no problem, from behind the large window in the living room we watched the seals and… Read more “We felt like living in a design-house and we enjoyed the wonderful views”
My two children and I stayed at The Sea House in early June and found it simply the best self-catering cottage we have ever stayed in. It has been carefully restored to provide exquisite accommodation in a stunning position overlooking Aran Island and the Atlantic. The surrounding area is also rich in wildlife such as seals and otters. I shall look forward to returning in the future.
Stayed at The Sea House at Dungloe for 5 nights. Wish we had longer.
Such a comfortable, beautiful cottage surrounded by fantastic views of the sea and countryside. Lots of picturesque walks right on your doorstep and the most amazing neighbouring beaches.

Hello Natasha – We had a perfect time and came home well relaxed, although had to leave a day early as ferry was cancelled because of a storm, and we had to reschedule. The house was perfect and I loved your design touches – the colours, the curtains and the crockery – everything really! It was such a pleasure to go out and come back to the place, to look… Read more “The house was perfect and I loved your design touches – the colours, the curtains and the crockery”

Our nine night stay at The Sea House in Dungloe was the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday. My wife found everything you could possibly want in the house and the furnishings and attention to detail are superb. The views across to Arranmore and beyond were a welcome bonus while sitting on the decking in the evening. Already booked for next year.
Dear Natasha, thank you for a wonderful stay at the Sea House. I have seldom stayed in a holiday home which has been so comfortable. It really was like a home from home. The house is absolutely spotless, adorably decorated and wonderfully situated, with a magnificent sea view.
