A little slice of heaven

What a wonderful house in the most beautiful location. When we arrived we were hugely impressed by the high standards which greeted us. It was a home from home with everything we could want for the week. The bedrooms are decorated tastefully and are really comfortable. The living room is so cosy and the kitchen with the view of the bay is simply stunning. We have 3 small boys and they loved the outdoor space also. We had the best week in the Oyster House and we would return in a heartbeat. If you are thinking about staying, think no more and book your stay. You won’t be sorry!

We had a wonderful week once again in the gorgeous Oyster House

Hi Natasha,
We had a wonderful week once again in the gorgeous Oyster House. We had a great time & the weather was grand. We took a spin over to see the Sea House too. It’s in a really fabulous location. I hope you are having a lovely break too & I’m delighted we will be back again next year.
Kindest regards,
Deirdre

It was like something out of a movie

Natasha, we had the most beautiful stay at the Oyster House. It was like something out of a movie. It was so relaxing and picturesque. I could have stayed forever.

Even though the weather was awful we loved every second of it. And there’s something so cosy and soothing about looking out at the rain too. The boys loved their beds for the week and they enjoyed packing their stuff into the drawers. Normally we would all be living out of suitcases but we really settled into our “home” for the week.

Geraldine and Sharon were fabulous people and Sharon and her husband gave us lots of good tips about a few trips we planned to make.
Thank you so much for having us in the Oyster House. Hopefully, we will return someday. I have already recommended your house to 2 of my friends.

Thanks so much for everything

We would thoroughly recommend The Oyster Cottage as a great spot for a relaxing family break

Hi Natasha ,
We have just returned from a very relaxing weeks break at the delightful Oyster Cottage. The cottage is a beautiful place to stay with relaxed but stylish decor and it is very well equipped with everything you need for your holiday. The location is very peaceful and the sea views are stunning and the outdoor decking area is the perfect place for socialising, unfortunately, the weather meant we couldn’t take advantage of it as much as we would have liked. We would thoroughly recommend The Oyster Cottage as a great spot for a relaxing family break.

The Oyster House has everything and more for a visit to Donegal

The Oyster House has everything and more for a visit to Donegal. The house is set in the most idyllic location, so peaceful and picturesque yet not too far away from Dungloe for the shops, bars and restaurants. The house itself is spacious, cosy and very comfortable. It has been decorated beautifully with great quality bedding making for a comfortable sleep. Natasha is extremely helpful and punctual with replies as are the ladies who tend to the house. All in all, a great house which I would thoroughly recommend. We will certainly be returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Oyster House. The house has everything you need to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The morning view over breakfast is fantastic and relaxing evening’s watching the sunset is spectacular! We have to say your taste of décor in the house is superb and to a very high standard. We are already looking at booking next year again!

he house is in a beautiful location, and we were welcomed by the very friendly, Sharon

We are a family of 8 (2 adults/6 children), from Scotland, and we had a fantastic holiday in The Oyster Cottage, this was our first trip to Ireland, and we will definitely be back. The house is in a beautiful location, and we were welcomed by the very friendly, Sharon, who showed us around the cottage and had homemade scones all ready for our arrival. The views from the house, are breathtaking. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

It was a great base for exploring the beauty of Donegal.

We stayed for a week in the Oyster House in July 2019. The house has the most idyllic location – right beside the sea on Traighenna Bay with beautiful views across the bay. It is exceptionally well fitted out for a holiday cottage with everything you would need – and more. The beds were very comfortable, the decor lovely and everything worked perfectly.

It was a great base for exploring the beauty of Donegal. Sandra, who met us on arrival, was lovely and even greeted us with homemade scones and treats for our two dogs which was a nice extra touch.

She was great for advice on places to see and things to do. We would definitely recommend this property, especially to anyone travelling with dogs. I don’t know who was more sorry to leave – us or the dogs.
