Cosan an Carria

Nestled in a forest of Larch and Oak under the shadow of Muckish mountain lies Cosan An Carria, meaning The Stags Path. On occasions, Stags and deer have been spotted metres away from the cottage. An ideal romantic getaway and peaceful haven, this traditional one bedroom Irish stone cottage offers a warm and cosy hideaway from the bustle of the 21st Century. It boasts a mix of old-world charm and modern facilities while remaining sensitive to the environment.

Located just over 3 kilometres from Creeslough (Throat Lake) village, an undulating lane meanders 2.5km from the N56, leaving the busy world behind, through free-to-roam common land and bog, to literally the end of the road where a clearing reveals two small cottages located in a world of peace, simplicity and solitude.
